camille vinck is a crack at (hand)lettering. for this workshop, she created a structure that allows us to draw various fonts and forms. together with her we will start to see the structure of letterforms which we then continue to evolve and "pimp" step by step with different effects.
*** a breef history … the first typo letters were an imitation of the calligraphic script. little by little, the type designers took more and more freedom in the image, and so more and more modern typefaces were created to convent into lead letters. later on they where digitalised to our computer versions we still use and design today.
